History (100 words min.): Declan was born in the United States, but lived most of his early years in Ireland, where his father was a successful landowner. From the instant he could roll over Declan's life has revolved around horses. At three he was given his first pony, and by five he was an accomplished competitor within his father's stable's annual games. Declan continued to grow and chose his passion; jumping. On his thirteenth birthday, his father gave him Devil's Advocate, a dark bay Dutch warmblood gelding with a bad attitude problem. The horse had been deemed untrainable, but Declan immediately saw that the horse had great potential. He spent hours for weeks merely sitting with the three-year-old, finally gaining the horse's trust. Once the bond had been forged, it quickly becamse unbreakable.
Declan and "Demon" have won several prominent competitions. When nod riding Demon, Declan acquired a camera, and discovered his second passion; photography.

Personality (100 words min.): Declan is relatively quiet and extremely shy, especially around girls. However, once on the topic of horses he can keep talking for hours. Incredibly dedicated to both photography and his career in jumping, Declan finds little time to even think about another life, let alone have one. He's never had a girlfriend, never kissed a girl, never been on a date... but it doesn't bother him. If asked, he'll simply claim that he hasn't found the right girl yet.

Declan's fault is his temper, or lack thereof. He's nearly incapable of being angry or holding a grudge. Unfortunately, this means it's easy to walk all over him. People often take advantage of his kindness, which in turn makes him draw away from human contact in favor of equine company.
